The Opportunity

You will provide on the ground, hands-on support for a growing IVD laboratory in the Dallas-Forth Worth, TX area. How you'll contribute


• Serve as the lab operations lead for blood-based in vitro diagnostic test product including coordination between personnel, purchasing, equipment management, and quality.
• Provide on-the-ground support for a globally distributed operations team.
• Support gathering metrics and dashboards for processes involved with laboratory operations including sample processing and material acceptance.
• Work closely with representatives from a contract laboratory organization to address implementation of project objectives, problem resolution, and process development.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including IVD Assay Development, Quality Assurance, Program Management to ensure seamless integration of activities and achievement of project milestones.
• Serve as a scrappy, innovative, solutions-oriented problem solver that unblocks issues during lab scale-up.


What you'll bring


• Proven track record of successfully managing a laboratory with liquid handling robots, sequencers, or equipment of similar complexity
• Experience working in a regulated environment (cGMP or CLIA/CAP)

• Proven expertise proactively identifying and solving problems
• Demonstrated experience building processes for laboratories to ensure operational excellence
• Excellent interpersonal skills including negotiation with partners and vendors
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Analytical skills, and the ability to make data-driven decisions
