The incumbent will provide hands-on support for various NGS-based liquid biopsy assay projects focused on early cancer detection. As a Research Associate, you will collaborate closely with other lab members and assist in multiple stages of the product development process, including sample preparation, experiment setup, data analysis, and documentation of experimental results.

• Perform wet lab tasks, including DNA/cfDNA extraction, NGS library preparation, target enrichment, and Illumina-based NGS sequencing.
• Assist with research studies and experiments, including material preparation and documentation.
• Evaluate research results, report findings, and discuss project outcomes with involved staff
• Manage data entry and maintain accurate data files.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and protocols
• Provide support for supply and equipment orders, as well as general lab maintenance and cleaning
• Undertake additional duties as needed based on operational requirements.
• Proven experience working in a molecular biology laboratory
• Familiarity with liquid handling robots, sequencers, or similar complex equipment is a plus
• Strong organizational and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with team members
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
